Membership Agreement

Memberships with the Cayton are nonrefundable, nontransferable, renewable annually, and remain property of the Cayton. The Cayton reserves the right to terminate or deny membership at any time for any reason.

 

General

Cayton membership is a revocable license and is valid only for use by the individuals listed on the membership. Restrictions apply, including, but not limited to, restricted access due to capacity constraints and other closures.

 

Upon arrival to the Cayton, members must present a valid member ID.

 

Membership holders grant the Cayton the irrevocable permission to use members’ image, likeness, voice or sound recordings in any media and for any purpose whatsoever and without compensation. For more details, please refer to our Privacy Policy.

 

Cayton memberships may only be used for admission by the designated Cayton membership holder(s). Additionally, Cayton memberships are not for commercial purposes, unauthorized resale, or promotional use (including, but not limited to, opportunity drawings, contests, sweepstakes, and giveaways) without the prior written permission of the Cayton. Misuse or duplication of memberships is strictly prohibited.

 

The Cayton reserves the right to suspend, terminate, cancel, or revoke any membership at any time for any reason. Cause for termination includes but is not limited to: causing harm to staff or guests; violation of visitor agreements or COVID-19 rules, lewd conduct, littering, deliberately damaging property, loitering, consumption or possession of drugs or alcohol, possession of a weapon (real or imitation), and participation in disruptive behavior which threatens the health, safety, and enjoyment of the museum, staff or guests.

 

The Cayton may refuse admission to, or may eject, a member or guest of a member if that person’s conduct is deemed disorderly or if the member fails to comply with these terms or any visitor rules or security measures on the premises, at offsite Cayton events, or online through websites or social media.

 

Members are subject to the same limits on liability as all visitors to the Cayton, including as relates to potential exposure to COVID-19.

 

Member Benefits and Discounts

Cayton members are eligible to receive certain benefits and discounts. Cayton members must present valid member identification prior to receiving any applicable benefits and discounts. Benefits and discounts are nontransferable and may not be combined with any other offer or promotion. Such benefits and discounts are for personal use only and may not be used to obtain or purchase items or services with the intent to resell such items or services.

 

Specific membership levels and benefits are subject to change without notice. Information about membership levels, benefits, and tax-deductibility can be found here or by contacting membership@caytonmuseum.org.

 

Member Communications

Cayton members are eligible to receive periodic special mailers, newsletters, and other communications about the Cayton and affiliated products and services, including information about events, programs, opportunities, benefits, discounts, offers, and services available to members. These communications may be sent by postal mail, email, or text, based on the contact information provided to the Cayton membership program.

 

Members may choose to opt out of these communications by contacting membership@caytonmuseum.org, calling 424-416-8320, or unsubscribing from the electronic communications. Please be aware that if a member does not allow the Cayton to send certain communications, Cayton may not be able to deliver information to the member about special events and opportunities.
