Winter at the beach

Come find out how we enjoy winter at the beach! Campers will explore different ways to bring ‘traditional’ winter activities to our coastal setting. We will make fake snow and kinetic sand, create sledding and surfing experiments, and build both beach and snow forts!

Through their investigation, campers will learn about conservation and sustainability. From marine mammals to arctic animals, campers will discover how different animals adapt to their climates. We will discuss how our actions can affect the vastly different nature around us and how small actions can make a BIG difference.
